THE FRAMEWORK

What is CPR?

The Central Pivot Range (CPR) is a market-structure indicator calculated from the previous session's High, Low and Close. Instead of predicting price, it helps you read where the market is balanced and where it's likely to trend.

Pivot

The CPR zone acts as a dynamic support and resistance area.

Price above CPR

Often a bullish bias for the session.

Price below CPR

Often a bearish bias for the session.

Price inside CPR

Consolidation — the market is deciding its next move.

Pivot (P)	(H + L + C) / 3	Central reference point

📏 Narrow CPR

TC and BC sit close together — the market is compressed and may break directionally. Often watched for breakout setups.

📐 Wide CPR

TC and BC are far apart — the market may stay range-bound near the CPR zone for the session.
